Planning, Monitoring and Administration Division (PMAD):

        This division is headed by a Director and it has the following five sections, each one is headed by a deputy director except the financial administration section.

  1. Programme and Monitoring Section

  2. Research and Quality Assurance Section

  3. Internal Administration and Property Management Section

  4. Financial Administration Section

  5. Training Resources Management Section

The main duties and responsibilities of this division are:

  • Developing annual programmes of NCED in consultation with other divisions

  • Coordinating with other Divisions/Sections to implement and monitor programmes

  • Identifying the areas of teacher training and develop training plan

  • Developing and implementing the plan to ensure quality of programmes in implementation

  • Helping in formulating policies for Distance Education and Open Learning programmes

  • Developing and implementing the plans to study the effectiveness of the programmes of  NCED

  • Publishing the articles, journals and bulletins related to educational research

  • Maintaining the MIS of teachers and civil servants (education sector)

  • Administrative work

  • Controlling and safeguarding the logistics resources of NCED, ETCs, and maintain the inventory

  • Developing and implementing the plan for identification and selection of private institutions conducting teacher training

  • Developing implement plan and programmes related to affiliation of private teacher training centres

  • Keeping record of account and make audit
